They really do camouflage well, despite what look like bold colors and patterns. If they stopped, sometimes they were difficult to see.

They'd scurry into the thicket if I got close, but then when I stopped moving, they'd come out again to scratch in the dirt.

There's our tipi! You can see the air conditioning unit outside, too -- truly deluxe. We didn't need to turn it on though -- it was perfect sleeping weather. I enjoyed all the bird feeder ...
